Job summary
A local culinary association is seeking a Managing Director to lead the operational launch of the Kingston Culinary Association. The role involves establishing governance, building industry trust, and delivering impactful programs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, financial literacy, and excellent communication skills. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for three years with a salary range of $80-100K plus benefits. Join us in shaping Kingston’s culinary tourism landscape.

- Minimum 5-7 years of senior experience in culinary tourism or industry leadership.
- Proven ability to build and lead organizations from early-stage development.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and hospitality challenges.

Responsibilities
- Lead operational launch of the Kingston Culinary Association.
- Define governance structures and strategic priorities with the Board.
- Engage Kingston's culinary sector for participation.
- Act as the unified voice for industry on regulatory issues.
- Manage Development Fund resources responsibly.
