We are currently seeking a Sr. MS Power Platform Application Developer (Remote) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

The Sr Application Developer will play a key role in the operation and support of the North America RI P&C applications. The role will report to the Manager of Subsection Business Solutions P&C - North America and be a key technology support partner in developing Power Platform based solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring products are developed and maintained in order to deliver high quality results based on industry and Munich Re standard solutions and are aligned to risk and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Host, extend and maintain the Microsoft Power Platform
2. Identify and implement business requirements
3. Incorporate technologic solutions with business related processes
4. Consult and implement customized digital solutions
5. Provide support and solutions for all phases of the digitalization life cycle
6. Strong interaction with business department

1. 8+ years of experience in IT application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the entire software development and product life cycle
2. Well organized with a good ability to analyze situations, diagnose problems, identify the key issues, establish and weigh up alternative courses of action and produce a logical, practical and acceptable solution
3. University degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, technical discipline or IT-related technical work experience
4. Collaborative working style, creating a culture of accountability and sharing
5. Ability to function as a member of a technology team, willing to contribute in any capacity required to achieve success
6. A high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks
7. Adaptive interpersonal, communicative and consultative skills to function across all levels, communicating with peers, business clients, and IT management
8. Experienced with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Copilot Studio, etc.)
9. Experience in creating custom connections in Power Platforms
10. Experience configuring Dataverse and Security Roles
11. Experienced with Canvas App and Model-driven App development
12. Experienced with implementing and configuring the Power Platform CoE Kit
13. General programming skills (incl. object orientation)
14. The will and ability to learn and adopt new technologies and programming languages
15. Insights into maintenance topics like version control, automated deployment; automated testing, etc.
16. Experienced with usage and design of databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB)
17. Basic knowledge about SSO technologies (e.g. NTLM, Kerberos, OAuth, …)
18. Interested in advanced/innovative technologies like R / Python / Machine Learning / AI / Chat Bots / Virtual Assistants / Robotics
19. Possesses PL200 (Power Platform App Maker) or PL400 (Power Platform Developer) certifications
20. Experience with the following technology is a plus:
