Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire fighting equipment and systems based on client specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Conduct site visits and gather relevant information for estimation and design purposes.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software to create detailed designs and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all designs.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
- Continuously research new technologies and industry trends to improve product design and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Well versed with Fire and Line Safety, UAE fire codes, and NFPA 72.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system estimation or a similar role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Strong understanding of fire fighting equipment and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the fire fighting industry.
