We are looking to hire a Regional Retail Performance Manager who will play a fundamental role in managing and optimizing the quantitative and qualitative performance of our retail network and achieving sales growth for the AS&S network in the Middle East (UAE and KSA) in line with the BU strategy.
This person will be responsible for designing world-class performance management frameworks, both KPI- and Objectives, with a primary focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, brand assortment optimization, employee performance with a focus on building leadership team capability, collaborating with all internal stakeholders in brand management, e-commerce, clientelling & merchandise management and support functions to achieve these goals.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Contribution
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and surpass sales and revenue targets.
- Assume P&L ownership of the business network and delivery of retail strategy to achieve targeted sales objectives.
- Take ownership of the POS sales budgets, ensuring targets are met or exceeded through effective planning and execution and consistent monitoring, reviews and analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support business improvements.
- Manage brands portfolio strategy across AS&S Multi Brand channel to optimize Multi brand Boutique performance and profitability and the Multi network value.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on strategic initiatives that elevate the AS&S brand name in the local & regional market.
- Analyze sales data, clientelling data, KPIs, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with the Brand Management team and the Retail Leadership to provide critical input and analysis for the yearly budget-setting process. Ensure strategies are aligned with market trends, contributing to effective budget planning and monthly phasing.
- Provide detailed performance reports and data-driven recommendations to the Retail Director. This includes monitoring and evaluating quantitative and qualitative aspects of the business network to ensure it operates at its highest potential.
- Provide Brand Management and commercial merchandising manager with the overall sales analysis of stock categorized per POS based on customer and location parameters (including slow mover and sell-out rates) to enable data-driven decisions on stock ordering.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of performance incentives and reward programs, analyzing, evaluating and adjusting as necessary to ensure they drive desired outcomes and align with business goals.
Customer Experience:
- Collaborate with the Clientelling Manager, Retail Ops Manager and the Commercial Managers to ensure a seamless and consistent demonstration of Seddiqi Signature Experience across all boutiques.
- Work closely with the Clientelling Manager and marketing teams to align tactical and strategic activations and campaigns with business objectives.
- Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and employee performance data to identify areas for improvement to elevate customer experience.
Inventory Management
- In collaboration with the Commercial Merchandising Manager and brand management develop and implement merchandising initiatives, including action plans and tactical incentives proposals, to drive sales and optimize product assortment.
- Collaborate with commercial managers, commercial merchandising manager and brand managers to minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR to implement winning people strategies to promote the performance culture across the business network.
- Clearly define performance expectations aligned with the luxury brands standards.
- Establish accountability systems to ensure every team member contributes to store success.
- Compare performance across different team segments to ensure consistency and excellence. Commercial Manager.
- Equip store managers and team leaders with strategies to motivate and lead their teams effectively. Commercial Manager and provide real-time feedback to enhance performance.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation. In collaboration with the commercial managers, maintain the skills inventory and ideal talent profile per segment and location to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with HR and L&D on designing and implementing training and coaching programs that elevate client service standards and boost team performance across all retail locations.
- Create a cohesive and entrepreneurial environment that encourages new ideas and initiatives that add value to the AS&S brand.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence within the retail team to drive sustainable growth and AS&S brand success.
- Drive initiatives to optimize processes and improve team performance consistently.
- Ensure Retail employees embody the Seddiqi values and maintain exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Work closely with Marketing, CRM, e-commerce, brand management and event teams to drive boutique performance and align retail activities with broader company objectives.
- Collaborate with the Retail Operational Excellence Manager to ensure that all retail operations fulfill compliance standards and best practices, creating a smooth operational flow and enhancing store aesthetics.
Compliance & Competitive Awareness
- Lead the Commercial Managers and collaborate with the Retail Operations Excellence Manager and Loss Prevention to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements across all AS&S retail network , including AML, data privacy and security.
- Act as AS&S compliance champion, ensuring Retail compliance to AS&S policies and procedures to foster a culture of compliance and excellence. Promoting high standards of integrity, accountability, and operational efficiency to align with the AS&S goals and Seddiqi Holding values and Code of Ethics.
- Continuously monitor competitor activities and market trends in the luxury segment to stay competitive and innovative in the retail space.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance customer trust, safeguard brand and company reputation, and maintain best-in-class in-store experience.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
- 10+ years job related experience.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or any other related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Luxury market trends and luxury best practices.
- Experience in the Luxury watches and Jewellery segment
- Previous experience in building and motivating large retail teams.
- Excellent Communication skills (bilingual preference)
