Job summary
A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Engineer specializing in Contracts & Procurement. The role focuses on quantity surveying, procurement processes, and contract administration. Applicants should have at least 5-6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a real estate developer or construction company. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems are essential. This position offers the chance to contribute to ongoing and new projects in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, project billing, and procurement.
- Prior experience with a real estate developer or construction company is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity surveying activities, including measurement, estimation, and cost control.
- Prepare and manage interim and final project billings.
- Handle procurement processes, including vendor coordination and purchase orders.
- Assist in preparation and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Coordinate with project teams for timely procurement and accurate billing.
- Maintain procurement, billing, and contract records in ERP systems.
- Support cost monitoring and reporting for project management.

Ahmadyar Developments is seeking a qualified and experienced Engineer – Contracts & Procurement to join our Projects Department. This position has been created to support ongoing and upcoming projects, with a strong focus on quantity surveying, billing, procurement, and contract administration.
- Perform quantity surveying activities, including measurement, estimation, and cost control
- Prepare and manage interim and final project billings
- Handle procurement processes, including material requisitions, vendor coordination, and purchase orders
- Assist in preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement and accurate billing
- Maintain procurement, billing, and contract records in ERP systems
- Support cost monitoring and reporting for project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in:
- Quantity Surveying
- Project Billing and Cost Control
- Contracts Administration
- Procurement
- Prior experience working with a real estate developer or construction company is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems related to purchasing and billing
- Ability to read and work with drawings using AutoCAD
