Digital Solution Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Principal Engineer/Technical Lead & Architect to join our team and lead the development and advancement of ABB Ability Genix, with a specific focus on deployment automation, packaging, and Core Technical Capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a talented team of engineers, driving technology excellence, Agile Delivery Excellence, and fostering People Excellence. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore Southfield, India.

Your responsibilities:

1. Provide technical leadership, set coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
2. Architect and Design (HLD & LLD) complex software systems involving AI/ML use cases, MLOps around C#, .NET / Python, and Angular.
3. Create the WBS for the feature that needs to be incorporated.
4. Ensure that the team follows cybersecurity best practices and provide continuous guidance to improve the coding practices.
5. Ensure the team follows best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.
6. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
7. Implement and enforce automated testing and continuous integration practices.
8. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in software systems.
9. Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents.
10. Collaborate with the team to plan for product roadmap, demonstrate MVPs and work with product management team on planning and prioritization of features.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Overall 10+ years in a technical leadership role, working with software engineering teams & 5+ years of expertise knowledge of LLMOps principles, NLP frameworks and architecture of systems.
• Deep understanding of different model types, management and monitoring of large number of AIML models in a production environment.
• Experience in model monitoring concepts for different types of language models.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Cosmos, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cognitive Datalake, Azure SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with designing & developing scalable, microservices-based systems with asynchronous programming and design patterns.
• Expertise in working in CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment processes.
• Ability to design and implement complex, scalable, and secure web & Rest API applications.
• Understanding of Industrial IoT protocols and standards, such as MQTT, OPC UA.
• Experience in mentoring team members and helping them grow professionally. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts.
