My client is a trusted name in the offshore marine industry. Established in 1975, they have built a reputation as a leading service provider to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a network that spans the globe. My client owns and operates more than 75 offshore support vessels, and plans to have increased its fleet to the size of more than 100 vessels by the end of 2015.
An opportunity has arisen for a professional individual to join their team in the role of Administration Assistant. The role shall require you to provide efficient and timely support to the services team to enable other staff members to function effectively. The role will consist of analyzing statistical data, producing reports for senior management, performing basic accounting functions such as invoicing, purchase and service orders and P&L sheets. You shall liaise and coordinate with the necessary departments, third parties and suppliers.
Candidates must be highly proficient in all MS Office applications and be completely fluent in English. We are seeking an assertive, confident individual who is able to problem solve and make decisions in a pressurized environment. You will show a willingness to learn new skills and develop yourself and show professionalism and pride in your work. A minimum 5 years administration or accounting background is required.
