Red Hat Linux Servers Virtual Environments: (RHEL 8, 7, and 6)
Central SAN and NAS Storage Environments: (Dell EMC Unity 550, Isilon H400/A200, and SAN Switches)
Oracle Exadata Engineered System Environments: (Server X72, Cell Storage, IB switches, and ZFS backup storage)
Veritas NetBackup: Production and DR data backup and tape libraries (Veritas NBU 8.x Appliance and MSL3040 Tape Libraries)
Virtual Infrastructure Environments: (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMM Console, and Snapshots)
Maintain all above system availability and reliability as per the CLIENT requirements.
Support in the development of functional and technical specifications related to Systems, Storage, Backup Appliance, and Engineered Systems based on CLIENT business needs.
Support and plan the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems related to coordinating with third-party providers as needed.
Support and perform testing procedures of systems as well as systems upgrades/updates.
Provide level 3 and 2 support through effective and efficient diagnosis and resolution of IT system-related issues.
Monitor all the Linux servers, storage, CS, and DR Data backup systems and Oracle Engineered System components.
Support SR and Incident related to Linux servers, Storage, and data backup environments as per IT help desk system.
Veritas NetBackup Software upgrades at all CLIENT campuses, assisting vendor.
Unity and Isilon Storage software and firmware upgrades.
Monthly backup storage and tape media reports.
Veritas NetBackup DR storage usage analysis; usage has reached more than 90%.
Review technical solutions for new storage for blackboard videos archive.
Participate and support in manage engine PAM360 security enhancement project.
Create/update IT operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a system analyst role with a proven track record.
