Job summary
A leading safety consulting firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certification and 5-8 years of experience in the manufacturing or construction industries. Responsibilities include maintaining training records, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring OSHA and ISO compliance. Qualifications

Description
- In depth knowledge of OSHAD (Procedure, mechanism, legislation)
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety Environment
- Knowledge of potential hazardous material or practices.
Minimum Requirements
- NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent Level 3 certification.
- B.Sc/BA in safety management, Engineering or relevant field is preferred.
- First Aid and firefighting training will be advantageous.
Experience & Skills
- Min 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing Industry or Construction.
- Experienced in performing OSHAD, Environment, ISO 9001 & 14001 Auditing.
- Hands on experience in doing risk assessment, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Health and safety & Environment training records are maintaining and update periodically.
- Provide adequate information, instruction, supervision, training and TBT to employees in matters related in HSE.
- All statutory regulation, CoP and safety rules & regulation are implemented and complied with at the workplace.
- Daily Report any HSE Violations, follow up on implementation of control measures and corrective action to mitigate the risks and recommend disciplinary action.
- Documentation for HSE, ISO Management system in line with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015.OSHAD Third party External Audit.
- Review and approve method statements, risk assessment and emergency plans and conduct workplace specific risk assessment/job analysis.
- Responsible for developing implementing and update evacuation plans, procedure and measure.
- Concerning the implementation of safety management system in the workplace.
- Conducting Regular safety checks and emergency issues discuss with Top management.
- Performing periodic and random HSE inspection as per the required KPI for authority requirement.
- Performing regular floor walks and documented checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of staff/workers.
- Ensure All employees are wearing PPE at the workplace.
- Coordinate and conduct monthly HSE committee at all responsible staff.
- Document, maintain and update all HSE incident, Near miss and dangerous occurrence register.
- Coordinate with Production Manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and instructions from regulatory authorities are met.
- To conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provision at workplace.
- The completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
