Job Summary
The Staff/Chief Scientist Ammonia Technologist is expected to initiate, propose, and execute research and development, debottlenecking/revamp, energy-saving, and sustainability improvement programs directed towards the improvement of processes and commercial technologies. They will lead in-house new process technology development, scale up, and implementations in commercial plants. Additionally, they will provide technology support to commercial plants for shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed. The ammonia technologist will also provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. Initially, they will support growth projects and be aware of the differences in available licensing technology from main licensors, allowing for the selection of the best technology based on these differences.
