Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team and drive forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization for our diverse product portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring we meet customer demands while minimizing costs and waste. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of analytical expertise and industry experience, contributing directly to our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on demand planning strategies.
• Analyze inventory levels and provide recommendations to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance against forecasts to identify trends and improve accuracy.
• Manage seasonal and promotional forecasting to optimize stock levels during peak periods.
• Work closely with suppliers to manage lead times and ensure timely product availability.
• Implement and refine demand planning tools and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in the food trading or FMCG industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand planning software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Asian food products and trends is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
