Job summary
A dynamic retail events company in Dubai is seeking a Retail Curation Specialist. This role involves curating vendors, negotiating terms, and managing on-site logistics to ensure a high-quality experience for guests. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in retail curation or event management, a strong network of retail contacts, and fluency in English. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and consumer-savvy, ready to redefine retail at live events.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in retail curation, brand partnerships or event management.
- Strong vendor network across fashion, lifestyle and artisanal retail.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Experience working with compliance, contracts and retail regulations in the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Source and select standout vendors that align with the event’s concept.
- Develop relationships with local boutiques and international brands.
- Negotiate vendor terms, pricing structures, and exclusivity.
- Oversee vendor set-up and on-site coordination.
- Manage contracts, licensing and regulations for retail activations.
- Ensure vendors offer quality products and exceptional service.
- Track performance and gather feedback to enhance retail experiences.
Skills
Retail Curation Specialist – Contract • Dubai, United Arab Emirates
You’ll work closely with the Curation Team Lead, event producers, and operations team to ensure a seamless vendor journey from onboarding to on‑site delivery.
- Curate the Retail Mix: Source and select standout vendors that align with the event’s concept, theme, and target audience.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Develop relationships with local boutiques, international brands, and niche concept stores.
- Negotiate & Manage Secure: Negotiate favourable vendor terms, pricing structures, and exclusivity where applicable.
- Deliver Seamless Execution: Oversee vendor set‑up, merchandising flow and on‑site coordination.
- Ensure Compliance: Manage contracts, licensing and regulations for all retail activations.
- Create Great Guest Experiences: Ensure vendors offer quality products, exceptional service and interactive touchpoints.
- Monitor & Improve: Track performance, gather feedback and use insights to enhance future retail experiences.
- Industry connected with a solid network of retail brands, emerging labels and designers.
- Consumer‑savvy: up‑to‑date with the latest shopping trends, experiential retail, and consumer behaviours.
- Organised & detail‑oriented: able to manage vendor logistics, regulations and timelines with ease.
- Commercially sharp: comfortable negotiating deals and driving vendor success.
- Guest‑focused: committed to delivering a high‑quality, memorable retail experience.
3+ years experience in retail curation, brand partnerships or event management.
Strong vendor network across fashion, lifestyle and artisanal retail.
Fluent in English (spoken & written).
Experience working with compliance, contracts and retail regulations in the UAE.
Have experience curating marketplaces or pop‑up concepts at festivals and large‑scale events.
Come from a background in retail strategy, visual merchandising or experiential brand activations.
Speak and write Arabic.
