PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer who will be responsible for setting up programs, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathes and mills without assistance, and preparing a library for all designs with proper indexing.

• Set up programs, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance.
• Prepare a library for all designs with proper indexing.
• Prepare a daily plan for CNC machine work.
• Read and interpret 3D drawings and IGES files.
• Properly and safely load and unload castings and raw materials in CNC machinery.
• Use gauges and other measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Ability to set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance. Must be self-sufficient.
• Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements.
• Must be proficient with FANUC controls.
• Understand, interpret, and edit FANUC G-code programming.
• Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
• Assist in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment.
• Provide constant feedback and input on process improvement within the department.
• Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
• Attend scheduled meetings and actively participate by providing meaningful inputs.
• Be flexible with time and schedule to assure availability to the company as circumstances require.
• Communicate honestly, professionally, and respectfully with others and demonstrate effective listening skills.

• High school diploma or higher from a technical specialization.
• Minimum 4 - 5 years’ experience in CNC programming.
• Strong CNC machining background.
• Experience working with different materials: stainless steel, aluminum, and castings.
• Knowledge of CNC milling, lathe, and drilling machine operations.
• Open-minded, good listener.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer and MS software.
• Fluency in the English language; working knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
