Who can apply?

  1. Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4Youth initiative.
  2. Aged between 18 and 29.
  3. Must be a South African citizen.
  4. Must reside close to the workplace area.
  5. Must not have a criminal record.
  6. Must be able to start employment on 1 May.
  7. Highest Qualification to be Grade 12. Qualification aligned to the position would be an advantage.
  8. Valid Driver's License.

Duration: 12-months

How much will you earn? R stipend monthly

Main Job Functions:

  1. Conducting all pre and post-inspections in line with department / branch requirements.
  2. Installation, repair, and servicing of all units and company-approved products in line with company policies and procedures.
  3. Ensuring compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and all Company Policies and Procedures.
  4. Request training from the HR Team if there are any concerns.
  5. Completing any administrative tasks as requested by management and making use of the various systems required by the company.

Behavioural Competencies and Technical Competencies:

  1. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of installation procedures and techniques.
  2. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and management.
  3. Adaptability: Adapts to changes in project requirements, schedules, or environments without compromising quality or safety.
  4. Problem-Solving Abilities: Quickly identifies issues or challenges during installations and works proactively to find solutions.
  5. Safety Awareness: Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines during installations.
  6. Microsoft Office: Intermediate.
