Assistant Website Warehouse Manager

With 12 stores scattered across the country and an online store that's as efficient as it is convenient, we're here to make your furniture shopping experience seamless. As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders.

This includes managing employees in your department as well as handling all customer service queries related to the delivery process. This is on a 6-day work week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the compliance of existing processes in the warehouse.
2. Ensure correct dispatch procedures are followed.
3. Plan deliveries when needed.
4. Efficient documentation process of picking slips, delivery notes, waybills, and managing relations with third-party logistics partners.
5. Continually review available processes and data to ensure maximum efficiency.
6. Extra planning and focus given to peak periods.
7. Aligning transport requirements with the order.
8. Provide a high level of customer service.
9. Manage quality control and accuracy of orders.
10. Accurate comparison of the invoice to the physical stock.
11. Ensure the correct orders are picked timely.
12. Quality control of stock handling.
13. Manage employees in your department.
14. Recruit new staff when needed.
15. Attendance and timekeeping.
16. Disciplinary actions.
17. Performance reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Grade 12 or equivalent.
2. Relevant diploma / degree in logistics and/or operations is preferred.
3. 3+ years retail/logistics experience.
4. Warehouse Management System experience.
5. Computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
