A large consulting company with offices across South Africa with projects globally is looking for a Wastewater Engineer. This position offers the opportunity to work with some of the leading minds in the industry if a firm with an exceptional culture.
Minimum Requirements:
BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years’ post-graduate experience specifically on wastewater treatment engineering projects.
Engineering planning, process design or infrastructure design experience for wastewater or water treatment will be a distinct advantage.
Professional registration (Pr. Eng.) would be an advantage.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Perform complex engineering, design, calculation, and analysis of wastewater treatment improvements/upgrades.
Assist with the compilation of planning and business reports for the upgrading or improvement of wastewater treatment plant designs.
Assist in producing any other key deliverables required by the client to support their project implementation requirements, including assessment of technical or financial feasibility, technical assessment of process or infrastructure decisions, technical specifications, and/or procurement documentation.
Assist with the management of project work to deliver high quality outputs within constrained timeframes.
Be a team player willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies.
Ensure that all work complies with the company’s quality control procedures and that the required quality standards are maintained.
