Warehouse Technician (Refrigeration Repairs) (East London)

JOB SPECIFICATION :

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s)

Repair refrigeration equipment.

• Repair refrigeration equipment within the warehouse.
• Fault finding and repairs on refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct inspection on refrigeration equipment before it is moved to outlets.
• Refrigeration equipment repaired within the SLA time.

Ensure administrative documentation is upkept.

• Submission of job cards daily.
• Request stock from warehouse timeously.
• Administrative documentation is up to date.

Overall Responsibilities

• Fixing fridges in the warehouse.
• Fixing fridges in trade as requested from time to time.
• Cleaning and decaling fridges per client’s specs.
• Submitting weekly stock for his car stock.
• Do stock counts for warehouse locations as allocated by Admin.
• Do warehouse scanning for Unilever once a month.
• Set up warehouse in an orderly manner.
• Submit job cards timeously.
• Do periodic checks of tools.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Manager.
• Do stock counts within time frames set.

Working conditions : Office based but travelling will be required.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Matric.
• Refrigeration qualification with Trade Test.
• 1-2 years’ Refrigeration Experience.
• Gas handling license.

Skills & Knowledge Required :

• Excellent knowledge of refrigeration equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Deadline oriented.
• Interpersonal relationships.
