Warehouse Supervisor

The ability to communicate in English is essential for this position, and the minimum educational qualification is grade 12. All appointments are merit-based. Candidates that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

Key Performance Areas for this Position:

1. Supervise shop floor employees
2. Accurate receiving of stock
3. Ensure efficient and accurate picking and loading of stock while providing high levels of customer service
4. Dispatching of customer orders
5. Maintain a safe work environment
6. Ensure safe and proper stacking of inventory
7. Ensure stock counts are performed timeously and accurately
8. Ensure housekeeping is to the required standard

Required Qualifications / Experience:

1. Excellent communication and organizational skills
2. Product knowledge essential
3. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
4. Awareness of safety and good practice
5. Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment would be an advantage
