Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of food and beverage products, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders and returns
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and control
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety and security procedures
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics (e.g., productivity, accuracy, and throughput)
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage relationships with transport providers and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards

Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Diploma in , Supply Chain Management, or related field)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, warehouse management systems)
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000)
