Warehouse Operations Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently hiring for a Warehouse Operations Manager position in the food manufacturing industry. The role will be based in Alberton and will require strong leadership skills and experience in warehouse management. As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
• Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues
• Monitor and analyze warehouse KPIs to identify areas for improvement

• Previous experience (5+ years) in warehouse management in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and processes
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
