Warehouse / Branch Manager

Highly pressurized distribution company is seeking a highly experienced Warehouse / Branch Manager to perform the following:

• Offer support to cross-functional teams (i.e., Admin / HR / Compliance / Finance / Operations) in Head Office and nationally to increase productivity and supplier/customer satisfaction.
• Retain strong leadership and interpersonal skills and advance strategic plans and purchases/sales/quantity collected objectives set forth by Owners/Senior Management.
• Administer policies to keep budget low with regards to operations, maintenance, and labour costs.
• Plan, organize and direct resource distribution operations to ensure optimal return on investment for the company through overseeing branch’s collectors/drivers, their daily routes, weekly collections quantities and collection performance reports – as well as through overseeing quantities obtained from bulk suppliers into the site-specific warehouse.

Requirements

• Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license suitable to the vehicle being used.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Must be in good health for the demands of the workplace environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects/loads.
• Ability to work long hours, including road trips.
• Ability to work long hours standing, bending, stooping.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with senior management and co-workers.
• Must be able to work in a team and to get along with others over a long time and work collaboratively.
• Must be able to maintain a professional relationship with co-workers/suppliers/clients.
• Must be reliable and pay great attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a goal-driven environment and under strict deadlines.
• Must be well versed with the safety and quality standards followed in the warehouse/store setting.
