Business Development Manager Agriculture – Southern Africa
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: This Position reports into the GM Regional Network Southern Africa.
General Overview: Identify and create new opportunities, with the objective of growing the Agricultural Market. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships. Develop the relationship with those partners, thus driving revenue.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Minimum qualification: Grade 12 (3 year tertiary education valuable).
EXPERIENCE: 5 Years+ experience in Capital Equipment industry in the Agricultural market. Demonstrates a high level of understanding of agricultural environment and requirements. Proven Track record in Sales Management. Experience in working with senior stakeholders and Client relationship management. High competence in computer literacy and data analysis. Adept at learning methods, process and strategies related to Agriculture. Cultural awareness.

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS: Has existing relationships that can be leveraged.
LOCATION & EXPECTED TRAVEL: This position is based at Proton Industrial Park, Chloorkop, South Africa with many trips within the region.
