You will be assisting the Product & Technology team at DFC. Our team acts as an internal agency that integrates within our companies to work directly with stakeholders and product leaders.

Your Role
Responsibilities (i.e. day-to-day): You will be designing website improvements that will be A/B tested and implemented across our multiple eCommerce brands.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Translate business objectives and creative briefs into design solutions.
- Lead and manage the process for your designs.
- Quickly iterate and offer versions of designs based off feedback.
- Productionize existing designs for hand-off to developers.
Secondary responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain style guides and content libraries.
- Conduct UX audits on our portfolio websites to identify opportunities to improve.
- Perform QA on designs after the initial development phase, communicate bugs, and sign-off that design and functionality are as intended.
You will be collaborating with our Sr. UX/UI Designer.
Skills
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of full-time experience working as a UX/UI designer for a web or mobile property.
- Proficient with Figma.
- Proficient with design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other similar tools.
- Ability to work quickly and independently, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically to create hypothesis-driven design solutions based on real business problems.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Portfolio with demonstrated work.
- Ability to work irregular hours (e.g. 10 hours one week, 8 the next, 15 the next, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing in an A/B testing process using tools such as Optimizely, Google Optimize, Monetate, or other similar tools.
- Strong design aesthetic.
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics).
- Ability to identify key stakeholders.
- Fluency in digital KPIs.
- Experience with Jira or similar project management systems.
- eCommerce, agency, or freelance experience.
