UX DESIGNER : ICT APPLICATIONS, INFRASTRUCTURES AND OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

Purpose Of The Job

To define the customer interactions of the customer facing solutions. To support the ongoing design of our customer facing solution and digital experience. Responsible for designing visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly software applications. With a deep understanding of user research, design principles, and industry trends, collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that will drive the development of our software solutions. The person appointed to this position will report to the Senior Manager: Applications.

Key Performance Areas

1. Work collaboratively to help identify opportunities to better understand customer’s needs.
2. Analyze and interpret what is happening in the industry, driven by the latest news/incidents.
3. Work proactively with technology, product, and other key stakeholders to come up with new and creative ideas.
4. Define user experience concepts and components for the product or project using tools such as wireframes, prototypes, and process flow diagrams.
5. Deliver UX designs that meet the customer experience requirements.
6. Proactively use data to establish key metrics for projects.
7. Explore data from analytics platforms, customer insights, or other sources to understand the context of UX projects.
8. Regularly test design work with users in partnership with business and business analysts.
9. Continually develop depth and breadth in key competencies.

Other Key Competencies

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: problem analysis, active listening, critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), and attention to detail. Proven work experience as a UX Designer, or similar role. Hands-on experience with HTML & CSS environments.
