Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Establish the staffing levels and the training required to achieve sales objectives.
  2. Train, lead, motivate, mentor and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the department.
  4. Monitor the performance of the sales department weekly.
  5. Maximize the sale of sales, back-end products and profitability.
  6. Review all pricing, discounts and “trade-in” dealing to maintain profitability.
  7. Ensure optimum stock of vehicles on premises and that stock level is kept within company requirements.
  8. Monitor all floorplan activities.
  9. Ensure cost control (direct and indirect costs) to remain within the budget of the department.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  11. Follow and execute disciplinary / poor work performance policies.
  12. Ensure department operates within the company policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Education:

  • Certificate (Required)

Experience:

  • Vehicle Sales Manager: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Tertiary education in Sales & Marketing or Management (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)
