Security Supervisor

We are looking for experienced Security Supervisors to join our team at SBSA - 30 Baker - Rosebank in Gauteng. If you have a strong work ethic, a “can-do” attitude, and are a strong Supervisor who has a proven capability to organize, motivate and inspire a team, we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the guards on sites.
2. Ensure that the 3 PPPs are actively upheld:
1. Protect the premises and property of the client.
2. Prevent illegal trespassing/unauthorized entry.
3. Prevent any criminal activities from happening.
3. Conduct day and night shifts.
4. Provide visible access control at the sites.
5. Patrol as needed.
6. Provide armed response when requested.
7. Incident management.
8. Conduct inspections and parades to verify that:
1. PSIRA certificates are valid and notify members if their certificates are close to expiring.
2. Bi-Annual Criminal Checks on all Security Personnel.
3. Report all crimes and identified crime trends after each shift.
4. Control keys, equipment, and company assets utilized by your team.
5. Administer sick notes and annual leave & ensure that all staff take annual leave according to a leave roster.
6. Attend all meetings as requested.

Minimum requirements:

1. Minimum Grade 10 or higher
2. A Grade PSIRA registered
3. Driver License
4. Handgun - Firearm Competency
5. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
6. Presentable
7. Must reside in and around Alexandra, Tembisa, and surrounding areas.
8. Must have experience working in a corporate environment
9. No Criminal record
10. Must have previous experience as a supervisor.
11. Applicant must show leadership qualities and skills
