Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance our Travel brand presence and drive business growth.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field.
• Candidates for this role must have previous experience within the travel industry working in a marketing role. Detailed knowledge of Africa travel is critical.
• Digital Marketing Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years.
• Travel Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years.

Skills required for the position:

• Excellent English language skills for copywriting purposes.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience and knowledge of Africa travel.
• Proactive and self-motivated team player with good attention to detail.
• Experience with Ability creation and to scheduling of social media posts.
• Experience with email marketing and SEO strategies.
• Email marketing experience working with MailChimp or similar.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and WordPress.
• Proficient in project management and time management.
• CRM experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Digital communications - Newsletters, E-shots, LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook.
• Website content creation and web updates.
• Updating & creating branded assets.
• Leading the creation and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborating with the sales team to develop promotional materials.
• Monitoring and analysing marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
