Traffic / Production Manager

Traffic / Production Manager required in Johannesburg.

Please note only candidates with previous experience in production within an agency as well as knowledge of Chase need apply. If you have managed projects or worked in a client services capacity, this will be an added bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Opening job bags and loading onto the system.
2. Work on Chase.
3. Coordinating the necessary designers, studio, and creative/art directors.
4. Full production function.
5. Organising necessary freelancers if required.
6. Co-ordinate weekly status meetings.
7. Keep a close eye on timing and deadlines to ensure the job is on track.
8. Chasing cost estimates, samples, and pulls of jobs.
9. Organising the necessary photographers and photo shoots.
10. Must have experience managing BTL accounts.

Key Skills:

1. Point of sale for FMCG retail environment would be preferred.
2. Experience with events, collateral, trade presenters, gift boxes, leaflets, etc. is essential.
3. Great understanding of print production.
4. Ability to run the production department with no supervision.
5. Booking in jobs and overseeing the entire production process.
6. Visit major accounts once a year to develop strong relationships with these clients.
