PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage multi-disciplinary and multi-phase industrial projects.
The role focuses on delivering successful projects while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with company processes.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Lead and manage complex multi-disciplinary industrial projects through their full lifecycle.
- Ensure project delivery within agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project management plans and documentation.
- Manage stakeholder relationships including clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Drive financial performance through budget control and cash flow management.
- Implement risk management strategies and quality control measures.
- Mentor and guide project team members.
- Identify and develop business opportunities with existing clients.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and standards across all project phases.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (B.Eng or BSc).
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) advantageous.
- Professional Project Management registration (Pr.CPM) advantageous.
- Contract management training (ECC & PSC) beneficial.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 years' experience in multi-disciplinary project management.
- Demonstrated experience in complete project lifecycle management (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning).
- Practical site construction experience.
- Proven track record in successful delivery of large-scale projects.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS COMPETENCIES
- Thorough understanding of PMBOK project management principles.
- Strong knowledge of ISO and OHSAS.
- In-depth understanding of contract management.
- Comprehensive grasp of project scheduling.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory and safety governance.
- Strong understanding of business principles and organizational processes.
SKILLS
- Advanced computer literacy (MS Office suite).
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Projects).
- Experience with ERP systems and project collaboration platforms.
- Excellent technical competency.
- Strong communication abilities.
