Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position in Supply Chain Production in the Quality Management department based in Gauteng. The successful incumbent will report to the Trade Quality Manager.

The Purpose of the Job: To provide strategic and systemic guidance and robust Trade Quality systems to ensure quality product delivery to the end user.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To assure compliance with trade quality governance systems.
2. To provide trade quality competence and capability.
3. Adherence to good quality practices in Depots.
4. Ensure internal and external customer and consumer satisfaction.
5. Provide innovative solutions to reduce the cost of poor quality.

Education, Skills and Experience Required:

1. Relevant Degree.
2. 5+ years relevant experience in an FMCG environment (with 2 at a leadership level). Experience in the beverage industry will be a strong advantage.
3. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
4. Problem-solving and the facilitation of problem-solving processes.
5. Influencing skills.
6. Ability to thrive in complex, pressurised environments.
7. Previous experience in managing quality management systems (QMS), e.g., IFRS, BRC, ISO, or HACCP.
8. Excellent self-management skills.
