Toolmaker - Press Tooling

Toolmaker opportunity for an automotive manufacturing company in the Eastern Cape

Requirements:

1. Grade 12 or N3
2. 5-Years post trade experience within a press tool manufacturing environment
3. Demonstrated working experience on or stainless steel pressing, advantageous

KPA:

1. Plan, prepare and verify order documents with respect to completeness, functionality and feasibility based on experiences.
2. Document production material and or equipment; corrects and amends drawings if necessary.
3. Inspect received parts and initiate rework or adjustments, if needed.
4. Support the final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment.
5. Conduct tests of production materials and or equipment.
6. Setup devices under consideration of operational standards.
7. Maintain equipment, dismantle deficient equipment and check according to nonconformity report.
8. Conduct and document repairs.
9. Adjust maintenance standards after consultation.
10. Plan and coordinate allocated repairs after commissioning by the supervisor.
