MinimumRequirements:
- Matric.
- Tool & Die Trade Qualification (Mandatory).
- Toolmaker Level 2 OR Level 3
- Knowledge of technical drawing and use of computer-aided design and manufacturing software (CAD/CAM)

Responsibilities:
- Assembling, fitting, and repairing tools.
- Following engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for the tool.
- Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws, and grinders.
- Using machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines, and grinders to cut and shape the tools.
- Using 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software (CAD/CAM).
- Using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and vernier calipers to check the tool's dimensions.
- Monitoring the tools used on the manufacturing line to ensure efficient run rates and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
- Attending to machine breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem.
- Assisting with tool maintenance.
- Assisting with compiling necessary maintenance and tooling department reports.
- Ensuring the organisation and cleanliness of the workplace.
- Maintaining facilities, equipment, and machines used in good repair.
- Proper segregation of waste.
- Reducing consumption that leads to positive environmental impacts.
- Raising awareness of the occurrence or possible occurrence of environmental impact.
- Analysing and optimising existing manufacturing processes and tools at the Company.
- Studying and implementing changes in manufacturing processes aimed at increasing productivity, quality, and safety.
- Performing any ad hoc duties required by the department.
