Our client is a supplier and distributor of raw materials (chemicals) in the manufacturing sector.

Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled mature individual to join their team in the capacity of a Sales Manager for the Homecare, Hygiene and Personal Care (HHPC) division. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1. Create and execute effective sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market share.
2. Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
5. Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
6. Keep up to date and maintain a thorough understanding of products and their applications to effectively communicate benefits to our team and our customers.
7. Oversee the sales budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
8. Any other related duties.

Qualifications

1. Matric.
2. Tertiary qualification in Chemistry.
3. Sales and Marketing Qualification Advantageous.

Skills

1. 5 years experience in a similar role.
2. In-depth understanding of Home, Hygiene and Personal Care (HHPC) chemicals market.
3. Own Vehicle.
4. Valid Driver's Licence.
5. Experience in engaging with overseas principals will be an advantage.
