Theater Production Manager

Entry Rate: $63,944.39 - Maximum Rate: $112,204.03 Annually

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Theater Production, General Theater, or related field. Five years of production management, event management, and theater maintenance of a performing arts facility or theater is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership in event planning, event production, and facility management.
2. Schedule and supervise all backstage activity.
3. Delegate all technical tasks, including organizing, planning, and executing all aspects of each event.
4. Ensure events operate efficiently and manage decisions regarding technical and theater emergencies.
5. Oversee financial interests of the client and the Joseph Caleb Auditorium.
6. Approve or reject production staging techniques as described by management or guest artists.
7. Advance performances by identifying technical needs, creating crew schedules, and executing logistical details.
8. Enforce lease agreement requirements and oversee facility maintenance and repair work.
