Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation and/or analysing management reports and financial performance for operational, Capital and Project expenditure
  2. Analyse standard monthly management reports
  3. Analyse Service/maintenance contract variance
  4. Assist with the Rent/Utilities and Depreciation budgets
  5. Preparation of Fixed and Sales Based Rent Calculations for All stores
  6. Preparation of Lease Pipeline reports
  7. Assist with Store Project/Asset reconciliations
  8. Analyse projects/Asset for correct allocations, as well as ensuring correct tax deductions
  9. Assist with projections/budgets/forecasts & month end
  10. Assist with integrated financial planning
  11. Perform sundry cost centre management activities
  12. Prepare or assist with ad hoc or tailored financial reports required by management or Board members
  13. Oversight of actualised and forecasted Store Build rates
  14. Assist with collation and preparation of Capex/Project presentations for Divisional Ops and HOB
  15. Assist with cost analysis to identify cost saving opportunities
  16. Oversight of various recharges

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. BCom Degree in Accounting/Management Accounting or equivalent; CIMA qualification will be advantageous
  2. Proven experience (>5 years) in management accounting
  3. SAP/Coupa Experience (preferable)
  4. Must have Excellent working knowledge of Advanced Excel (Required)
  5. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail
  7. Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  9. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
