Telecom Sales Manager

Location: Paarl

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Telecom Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales initiatives in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass revenue and growth objectives in the telecommunications industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Manage the sales team, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ensure optimal performance and achievement of sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline effectively and ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that address client needs and drive business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, showcasing our offerings and capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Honours degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales management role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication abilities.
  • Exceptional presentation and persuasion skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
