Technician

TECHNICIAN

Area: based in Mbombela / Nelspruit, Mpumalanga

The technician will work in the Mpumalanga and Hoedspruit areas.

A young, dynamic person with a technical aptitude and a willingness to learn is preferred.

We will provide training on the dosing units/pumps, and the technician will also receive formal training.

Requirements:

• Servicing and repairs of equipment (vacuums, carpet extractors, etc.)
• General repairs and maintenance work at the distribution centre
• Installations of catering equipment (e.g., dishwashers, fridges, etc.)
• Inspection of delivery vehicles, and administration to keep record of all maintenance done on the vehicles (e.g., tyre replacements, services, etc.)
• The technician will ensure services are scheduled when due and will handle renewals of vehicle licenses in time.
• He won’t need to work on the vehicles himself – only fix small things if needed – but must make sure all vehicles remain roadworthy and safe.
• Fluent in English (spoken and understood) and comfortable communicating with clients.
• Valid driver’s license.

Salary Package:

• R8,000 – R10,000 per month
• A vehicle will be provided for business use (kept on-site).
