Key Responsibilities:

4. Develop and maintain in-house platforms with a focus on performance and reliability.
5. Work within an AWS environment, optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and scalability.
6. Collaborate with directors and key stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
7. Implement and maintain best practices for software development, security, and performance optimization.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies, particularly in AI and machine learning, to improve automation and bot capabilities.

Key Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of experience in software development.
2. Relevant IT Degree.
3. Proven experience in PHP and Laravel development.
4. Strong architectural design experience for scalable applications.
5. Hands-on coding experience in an advanced development environment.
6. Experience managing and mentoring teams.
7. Previous experience with payment systems and platform project development.
8. AWS environment experience is essential.
9. AI and machine learning experience is a plus, particularly for bot development.
10. Fully office-based role in Durban, Umhlanga.
