Technical Support Coordinator (Johannesburg/Cape Town)

Job Purpose

The technical support coordinator will diagnose, prioritise, and escalate technical issues from customers, as well as monitor all cases that have been escalated to our Operational Support team.

This is an office-based position in our Johannesburg or Cape Town offices.

Requirements

• 1 year (min) experience in an IT support environment
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience with online customer support
• Information Technology qualification, an additional certificate in Microsoft or similar, advantageous
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone
• Strong ability to multitask
• Diagnosing, prioritising & escalating issues to the technical support team, as well as monitoring escalated issues
• Candidates must be prepared to travel from time to time for support
• Own reliable transport is essential
