Technical Store man

Are you the one? Do you have strong technical skills combined with knowledge and experience in managing a maintenance storeroom? We are looking for for an experienced Store man with manufacturing experience.

POSITION INFO : Qualifications :

• Matric Certificate is compulsory.
• N4 in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commercial is essential.
• A valid Forklift License will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements :

• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; exposure to the maintenance department will be an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to carry 20kg and drive a forklift.
• Have high attention to detail.

Your key responsibilities will be :

• Receiving and issue materials ordered by the purchasing department as per the laid down procedure.
• Ensure proper stocking of materials by using appropriate methods of care and preservation to avoid any damage and loss.
• Ensure staging of spares for planned maintenance.
• Carry out Periodic stock verification and ensure correctness of stock at all times.
• Ensure that bills of materials received from vendors are processed by the Accounts department.
• Generate reports and submit them to relevant authorities.
• Managing repairable items tracker and liaising with repair workshops.
• Follow all safety working procedures and report all accidents and safety hazards to the Supervisor / safety representative immediately.
