Technical Service Agent - Gauteng

Ecowize is looking for a Technical Service Technician to ensure that satellites are fully operational through performing preventative maintenance as per service schedule. If you have the potential skills and competencies, this position is for you.

Job Description

Continuously identify opportunities for improvement to optimize resources (manpower, energy, and water), which includes utilization of industrial washing systems and time-study activities.

High-level Job Objectives:

1. Internal Customer Focus: Focus on regular, meaningful interactions to drive an inclusive partnership which will ensure optimal working order of satellites.
2. Maintenance Report: Ensure Maintenance Report is submitted accurately and timeously.
3. Financial Focus: Ensure expenses fall within budget, reported accurately and timeously.
4. Replacement Parts: Ensure all replacement parts are invoiced correctly to sites.
5. People Focus: Empower, develop, and motivate teams and individuals to perform at their best through training initiatives to enhance service delivery.
6. Compliance Focus: Ensure that all regulatory measures are consistently applied, in terms of Health and Safety, Food safety, Audit Standards, and Compliance regulations.
7. Company Values and Teamwork: Adhere to the company's values and required behaviours.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that customer needs are met by providing technical expertise to site manager, cleaning team, technical sales consultant, and customer.
2. Manage, resolve complaints, and advise internal/external stakeholders on corrective action.
3. Manage the budget and ensure that maintenance and costs are kept as low as possible, which includes asset management and driving efficiencies and innovation.
4. Ensure that application of audit procedures conform to the client's quality standards.
5. Determine the precision and accuracy in chemical verification.
6. Manage Health and Safety, ensuring that service is carried out in full compliance with health and safety together with environmental requirements.
7. Ensure compliance to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and safeguard all personal information and password access to information on site in line with company POPI Compliance Policy.
8. Provide effective solutions to address site pain points from a maintenance perspective.
9. Provide routine maintenance for chemical dosing pumps and keep the system functioning.
10. Provide onsite assistance and training to the chemical division.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12.
2. Technical Qualification / Certificate will be an advantage.
3. Chemical Engineering background will be advantageous.
4. Technical training IWS.
5. Management and delegation of tasks.
6. Operations and Service.
7. Project Management.
8. Total Quality Management System.
