Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Promote and sell Procure Hydraulics’ hydraulic pumps and cylinders repair service, focusing on meeting and exceeding established sales targets.
  • Leverage an existing network of contacts and develop new relationships within the industry, particularly with companies using yellow metal machinery and Hitachi excavators.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, strategically targeting customers in need of hydraulic repairs and maintenance services.
  • Ensure that clients are provided with top-notch service and technical support, maintaining strong long-term business relationships.
  • Market Research & Reporting:
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry changes, and competitor activities, ensuring that sales strategies are adapted to remain competitive.
  • Provide detailed monthly reports on sales performance, possible leads, market insights, and industry developments.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
  • Client Management & Support:
  • Provide technical consultation to clients, helping them understand the specifications and capabilities of our products and services.
  • Offer after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and generate repeat business.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Team Collaboration & Adherence to Company Standards:
  • Collaborate with the service, repair, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a strong work ethic that aligns with Procure Hydraulics’ core values and customer satisfaction standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and related fields, preferably with a focus on yellow metal machinery and Hitachi excavators.
  • Proven track record in sales with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
  • An existing client base or extensive contacts within the hydraulic, construction, and machinery sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and repair processes.
  • Technical proficiency to understand complex product details and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to draft detailed reports and maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, leads, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and successfully negotiate contracts.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while managing multiple sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including site visits and meetings with clients.
