Job summary
As a member of the global HR team, your role is to provide and influence TA, HR and Total Rewards practices, policies, and systems which help attract, retain, and mobilize high quality and engaging employees, while supporting business priorities and promoting a competitive advantage.
The Technical Recruiter position is a high visibility, high impact role with responsibility for sourcing, assessing and delivering professionally qualified engineering, sales, customer success, technical support and other positions in our business. You will work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the best candidates are identified and brought on board promptly and efficiently.
You will collaborate with your Manager to implement and continuously improve processes and tools focused on increasing value and providing highly effective recruiting support to internal clients. Successful candidates will possess near and long-term recruiting vision, business acumen, and a passion for recognizing and assessing talent. What you will do
- Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract and hire top engineering, sales, customer success, and technical support talent.
- Build and maintain a strong network of candidates and referral sources to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and other stakeholders to identify hiring needs, create job descriptions and develop interview questions.
- Source and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone interviews to determine potential fit.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle process including on-boarding programs, interviewing, diversity and inclusion efforts, and campus recruitment.
- Experience building effective sourcing strategies using a variety of means including: cold calling, leveraging Internet resources/diversity and professional associations, university/college recruiting, niche websites and social networking; creatively source and network with candidates while reducing fees to outside agencies.
- Proactively research new recruitment methodologies, competitive intelligence to create innovative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarking to understand DigiCert’s competitive recruiting landscape and influence best practices with team and stakeholders.
- Meet and exceed key recruiting performance metrics, including time to fill, cost per hire and source of hire.
- Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position; ensure a high quality candidate experience through exceptional communication and timely candidate follow up.
- Seek continuous improvements to enhance the process's capabilities; implement positive changes by overcoming resistance to change.
- Build a pipeline of talented candidates that fit the profile of the company's core competencies; review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, knowledge and experience in relation to position requirements; create and present pre-screening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
- Consult with internal clients on labor trends, competitor talent insight, interviewing techniques, hiring decisions and market data.
- Active and engaged participation, including managing ad hoc and special projects, when required, including those related to the development engagement programs, and implementation of global policies, tools and practices, in addition to the handling of routine TA operational work and reports.
What you will have
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience recruiting for engineering, sales, customer success, and technical support in a corporate and agency/search firm environment.
- Experience working in an HRIS system, preferably with ADP, Greenhouse, HireRight and/or other Global HR systems.
- Proven success in sourcing and identifying top sales talent, and ability to build and maintain a strong network of candidates and referral sources.
- Experience working in a global company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage multiple recruiting projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer focus with the ability and desire to work with HR colleagues, hiring managers, candidates, and search firms in a thoughtful and personable way.
- Ability to build deep domain expertise, understanding of business strategy and drive innovation with client groups and team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email and in formal discussions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities system wide recruitment needs, adjust pace of work, and meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Experience recruiting and consulting as a strategic TA business partner with internal clients within an international environment.
