We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to act as a bridge between business verticals and the technology team.
This role requires a strong ability to translate complex business, compliance, and finance reporting requirements into actionable technical tasks while fostering collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
Bridge Between Business and Technical Teams Act as the primary liaison between the company verticals and the technical team, ensuring seamless translation of business, compliance, and financial requirements into technical solutions. Leverage expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and backlog refinement to ensure alignment across teams. Participate in technical design sessions to maintain continuity from business requirements gathering to implementation planning.
Developing the Implementation Strategy Define, document, and refine epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and developers. Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to map user journeys and process flows effectively. Ensure the product backlog is continuously groomed and prioritized, following best practices for development efficiency.
Delivery Pipeline Coordination Ensure all actors involved in the software development lifecycle—development, QA, and user acceptance testing—have the necessary context and documentation to perform their roles effectively. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams. Work closely with compliance teams to ensure technical solutions meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education Computer Science, Programming, Engineering degree or qualification.
Experience Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or related role. Some Software Engineering experience will be beneficial.
Skills Good reading and writing skills. Good communication skills. Good working knowledge of Atlassian products.
