MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform maintenance on building and equipment, and ensure that assets are upheld to their original state.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital.
2. Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital.
3. Coordinate and monitor work done by on-site contractors within the Hospital.
4. Perform office administration duties within the Technical Department.
5. Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within Technical Department.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

• Grade 12
• Code B driver's licence
• Basic Technical Assistant Training (Mediclinic) or any other related technical training.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No experience needed.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in general building maintenance.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in report writing.
• Driver's licence.
• Experience in fault finding/analysis.
• Experience in working in a team.
• General experience in building maintenance.
• Occupational Health and Safety Act.
