Who Are We Looking For?
The Commercial Director – Gaming Events will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leading efforts to secure strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and exhibition opportunities. This role is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution and continuous expansion of our gaming events.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to attract sponsors, exhibitors, and partners specific to the gaming industry.
  2. Design and pitch tailored sponsorship packages and exhibition spaces that align with the unique needs of gaming brands and companies.
  3. Identify and research potential sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic collaborators in the global gaming ecosystem.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across gaming publishers, developers, hardware brands, and esports organizations.
  5. Create compelling sponsorship proposals, emphasizing benefits such as audience engagement, brand visibility, and lead generation within the gaming community.
  6. Ensure seamless execution of sponsorship agreements and activations to deliver maximum ROI for partners.
  7. Collaborate with Marketing, Events, and PR teams to align sponsorship initiatives with broader event strategies and branding efforts.
  8. Represent the organization at gaming industry events, conferences, and esports tournaments to build relationships and strengthen the event's reputation.
  9. Monitor market trends in gaming, esports, and interactive entertainment to identify emerging opportunities for partnerships.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales, exhibition space selling, or commercial strategy in the gaming, esports, or interactive entertainment industry.
  2. Proven track record of securing sponsorships for international gaming events or expos.
  3. Experience working on ambitious revenue targets in a competitive, global market.
  4. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a strong advantage.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  6. Strong relationships with key stakeholders in the gaming, esports, and tech industries.
  7. Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Passion for gaming, esports, and interactive entertainment is a significant plus.
