Tax Associate

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FATCA Tax Associate to join their operational tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve into all aspects of reporting under the umbrella of operational tax, with a focus on implementing group-wide processes and procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to the rest of the operational tax team, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to in relation to FATCA and CRS reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures in relation to FATCA and CRS reporting
• Support annual investor reporting processes including FATCA/CRS
• Update information in proprietary database systems
• Assist with monitoring wider compliance and reporting obligations such as US withholding processes
• Prepare withholding tax statements
• Maintain operational tax archives, including administrative duties related to tax department's activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in tax reporting
• Exposure to FATCA and CRS or US chapter 3 withholding taxes desired
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Confidence working within a small team
• High motivation and flexibility with undertaking various projects as needed
• Strong Office 365 (Word, Excel etc.) knowledge
• Fluency in English
