Purpose of the job

You’ll be joining our growing Group Procurement & ESG team. We are a central, strategic function supporting all of our Group companies in building value with our third-party suppliers and partners and in transitioning to more sustainable business models.

As we launch our formalised ESG strategy, including new initiatives, such as setting Science Based Targets for Greenhouse Gas reduction, developing our Good Data Principles and driving Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Career Progression throughout our business, and continue to respond to our growing ESG reporting requirements, we are seeking to bolster the team.

Alongside this, our extensive network of suppliers and partners is something we are very proud of at Collinson, and as we continue to deliver our Procurement 3-year plan, we are embedding a new contracts lifecycle management system and seeking to develop further tools and processes to help empower our business leaders in their supplier sourcing and management.

In this role, you will support both the Procurement and the ESG parts of the team, helping us to continually develop and enhance our systems, tools, templates and communication channels; assisting in our ESG disclosures (ESG, CFD, Modern Slavery, CDP, Ecovadis and more); and driving our reporting and compliance monitoring.

Joining a growing team that delivers high impact, you will be given a breadth of objectives that will evolve over time. Reporting to our VP Procurement and ESG but working with our people across the team and the wider Group, you will enable a core part of our ongoing strategy.

  3. Become an administrator of our Contract Lifecycle Management system (DocuSign CLM and e-signature). Learn how the system works under launch phase 1, and then build the skills to maintain the system and continually enhance it to drive new processes and efficiencies.
  4. Working with the Data and Insight teams, drive Procurement spend reporting, and combine it with contracts information to analyse trends and create informative and useable reports to underpin procurement strategy and stakeholder engagement.
  5. Analyse and manipulate data to merge complex data sets and generate various reports. Develop and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards.
  6. Conduct data profiling and validation to ensure data accuracy.
  7. Requirements gathering, drawing process flow diagrams and preparing technical documentation for data integration.
  8. Support the Sustainability Manager and data teams in delivering key ESG data gathering and translating this into formal reporting, such as delivering our CDP and ecovadis submissions.
  9. Become a power user of our BI/Reporting Tools, and over time progress to a citizen developer to create simple reports and/or work with other members of our data teams to develop requirements for work that needs deep technical development expertise.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  1. Undergraduate degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field.
  2. 2-4 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related role.
  3. Strong analytical skills.
