Advanced Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Lead the collection and documentation of business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
Complex System Design and Development:
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs.
Design and propose system solutions, including process models, specifications, and architecture, and collaborate with developers on systems solutions.
Implementation and Quality Assurance:
Liaise with developers, vendors, and IT teams to ensure system designs are accurately implemented.
Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and quality assurance.
Support the deployment and integration of new systems or enhancements.
Maintenance and Continuous Improvement:
Experience in providing expert-level support and maintenance for existing systems beneficial.
Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
Implement updates and improvements to existing systems as needed.
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and process diagrams.
Conduct training sessions and provide advanced support to end-users and stakeholders on system functionalities and best practices.
Skills and Competencies:
5-8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a related role.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of system analysis and design methodologies.
Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Experience with programming languages (Java) and system integration.
Project experience in a cloud-based environment, specifically AWS.
Modeling tools (UML, ERD), SQL, system diagramming tools, API documentation platforms.
Experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex systems and processes.
Expertise in translating intricate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Advanced Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
Strong presentation skills for stakeholder engagement and decision-making processes.
Education Qualification:
Matric.
University Qualification, Certificate or Diploma, aligned to relevant experience - Relevant Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma / recognized qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMP) are highly desirable.
