Systems Analyst

Position Overview : Our client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with expertise in Calypso, Java SDLC, and SQL databases. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing systems solutions that enhance the efficiency and performance of their capital markets software.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
2. Analyze and design technical solutions that meet business needs and improve system functionality.
3. Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Calypso, Java, and SQL databases.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
5. Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure the robustness and reliability of applications.
6. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and applications.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and innovations.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role in the capital markets sector.
3. Strong proficiency in Calypso, Java, and SQL databases.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and processes.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. 4+ Years of Experience with additional capital markets software and solutions.
2. Knowledge of financial instruments and trading platforms.
3. Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
